George Bush Should Be Prosecuted After Leaving Office

Electing Barack Obama president was the first step in redeeming American democracy. The second step must be indicting ex-president George W. Bush, giving him a fair trial, finding him guilty of many criminal acts and putting him in prison. Forget revenge. Think rule of law and justice.

I want President Obama soon after taking office to go on television and announce the formation of a special group of outstanding jurists and attorneys to make a recommendation whether or not the US Justice Department should bring criminal charges against George W. Bush. Based on earlier analyses, including work by the American Bar Association, I have no doubt they will recommend indictment.

If moral honesty and courage have any meaning, then the nation must take seriously the concept that no president can ever be allowed to be above the law. How can President Obama not strongly support this? Surely no president must be allowed to disrespect and dishonor the US Constitution. George W. Bush broke his oath of office. His behavior was treasonous. Instead of defending the Constitution he disgraced it. Instead of protecting constitutional rights, including privacy, he sullied them. He asserted his right to ignore or not enforce laws so he could break them. Respect for the office of the presidency must never be allowed to trump truth and justice.

Millions and millions of Americans and people worldwide know that George W. Bush made 9/11 the trigger for initiating an illegal war in Iraq that has killed and maimed so many thousands of people. What Vincent Bugliosi, author of "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" called "the most serious crime ever committed in American history." I say convict Bush of myriad counts of criminally negligent homicide related to both Iraq and the Katrina disaster and put him in prison. A former president in prison would not disgrace the presidency. It would restore honor to the office and the Constitution.

Surely millions more people now understand that George W. Bush bears responsibility for creating the conditions that encouraged greed-driven capitalism to rape and murder the middle class and push us into the current global economic meltdown. By removing government oversight and regulation he committed the greatest acts of fraud in the history of mankind. After he made American democracy delusional he made prosperity delusional.

I agree one hundred percent, Bush need to be punished. You shouldn't be allowed to get away with the mess he have put this country through. Wether his actions were criminal or incompetence or both he need to face a judge.

The Prosecution of George Bush for Murder.

WATCH OUT WASHINGTON! HERE COMES Vincent Bugliosi’s, Make no mistake, things have been done to America in these recent years that are unwise, unjust, unconscionable, unacceptable and un-American by President George Bush who pursues his partisanship, his profiteering, his perjury, his pardons and his power that are frankly, according to best-selling author Vincent Bugliosi, unpardonable.

In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses-a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.

Make no mistake, the hourglass is running out of sand for the darker impulses of this decider of our national politics and his destructive policies.

Make no mistake, the hourglass is running out of sand for the darker impulses of this decider of our national politics and his destructive policies.

In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder (Vanguard Press, 2008), Bugliosi, the man who successfully prosecuted Charles Manson for murder, argues convincingly that President George W. Bush's conduct in taking the US military to war against Iraq under false pretenses in March of 2003 qualifies him to be prosecuted for murder in any state in the nation. Written in an in-your-face gutsy style, Bugliosi manifestly maps out Bush's destiny.

Despite a virtual press blackout, Vincent Bugliosi's book has became a national best seller and is fast becoming a cult fave amongst outraged Constitution loving, Bill-of-Rights adherents, Declaration of Independence followers, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Greens and Independent Americans alike.

I think this is a book I will need to pick up. I hope like hell Bush is held accountable for his crimes and destructible behavior.

If Obama wins the election, he better not let the Bush Gang off the hook!

Remember what the French did to their "collaborators" after WW2? They did everything but burn them at the stake.

Forgive the hyperbole, but this American is starting to smell blood. Impeachment, hell. IMPRISONMENT for the rest of their hateful, neo-Nazi lives; how about that?

Are you listening, neocon cabal? Yes, you, you un-American filth who have NEVER been loyal to the United States of America, you were/are so obsessed with licking the jack boots of Israel's lunatic fringe right wing.

And what about our "press"? You know, the American media traitors who sold their souls for far less than 30 pieces of silver. Breaking the back of these corporate propaganda machines should be our moral imperative. The only problem is that there are so many cockroaches it's going to be hard to decide which one to step on first.

About 9/11 there are no words. Most of the planet is now totally convinced it was an "inside job", so these Bush/Republican traitors should be treated according to their crime (which doesn't mean "imprisonment"). Book after book and monograph after monograph and picture after picture PROVE that the neocon party line is something straight of the German 3rd Reich. And let's not drift off into thinking the Bushivicks were simply inept. No, no, no, it goes far deeper than that, and according to all of the polls (national and international), the human race now believes these Bush/Republican monsters actively facilitated the event. You know, a little greasing of the wheels with vampire elite money and turning the other way about EVERYTHING (e.g., learning to fly in Florida -- good name of a song), and using intelligence organizations (not just ours!) not to protect our beloved Democratic Republic, but to destroy it utterly. Nothing like crooked cops in high places in more than one country to massacre the American Dream.

And what should we do with people who defecate on our Constitution and Bill of Rights at every opportunity? Bush calls it a "piece of paper". Only an evil insect would think that. Or a literal anti-Christ. The point is these murderous psychopaths are contemptuous of laws, constitutions, and most of all "morality." But humans without morality are evil incarnate, and evil is a 12 gage shotgun aimed at the bleeding heart of America. We've already taken several hits, but perhaps for all the doubters, there really is a Loving God, because we are still standing and keeping the moral faith to the end. Tiny Tim was right, God Bless us all every one.

We could go tragically on and on, but the moral is that these monsters of evil (most of all, the vampire rich), MUST NOT BE ENDURED, and if rationality and morality are reborn in 2008, we must not be tolerant of these mountainous historical evils.

Conclusion: these people must be punished (yes, that's the word), and they must be punished to the limit of justice.

Politics is a meaningless game invented by the 0.5% vampire rich to manipulate the human race into cattle pens and hamburger factories, but THIS time we may be able to exert our will in spite of Hillary Clinton, the DLC and their fascist Bush Republican counterparts.

THIS time we may be able to go all the way with the wheels of justice, so for God's sake, let's not lose our nerve and get forgiving and forgetting. The Clinton's, of course, will want to do that after they've been swept into impotency. And while we at it, we shouldn't be forgetting and forgiving of the DLC and the Clintons. These people must be dealt with against the background of what they did and are still desperately trying to keep doing to America.

Just keep remembering the French and their WW2 collaborators. They weren't forgiving or forgetting.

We must never forget EVEN A DAY of these last 7 to 8 years. This will keep us focused on how to deal with these devils from hell.

A stink on the White House

President Bush and his crime syndicate have put a stink on the White House and on government itself. By failing to cleanse the foul odors with the fire of
impeachment, the Democrats have put the stink on themselves.

The Democrats appear to be playing politics. They claim that with a Democrat as president over a Demo-
cratic Congress, they will finally be able to address the grave misdeeds and misgovernance of the past seven years. But there is no evidence that Democratic rule will be a Constitutional Rule.

There is nothing to prevent a Democratic president from exercising the same illegal, unconstitutional and
tyrannical powers asserted by the Bush government. In fact, since the Democratic Congress served as towel-holders and enablers of a manifestly criminal Republican president, what leads any of us to suppose that a Democratic Congress would enforce the law under a president of their own party? How naïve! Let me know how that works out...

The stink of President Bush is particularly foul and it is impossible to ignore -- unless you are a Democratic member of Congress. Bush's crimes are well documented and public knowledge. They include:

• Torture and extra-judicial killings of suspects.

• Illegal domestic spying and warrantless searches.

• Treasonous conspiracy to disclose the identity of a deep-cover CIA operative who was working to stop weapons of mass destruction proliferation pertaining to Iran, followed by obstruction of justice, and a self-serving pardon of the only man brought to justice, "Scooter" Libby (which establishes the precedent that unless Congress exercises its right to impeach, a president can commit virtually any crime and then freely issue pardons as part of a cover-up).

• Repeated violations of First Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens (remember the "Free Speech Zones" and protest cages?).

• Illegally -- and stupidly -- starting a war with Iraq based on cooked intelligence and telling lies to the American public.

• Losing that war(!) and getting the US bogged down in a desert quagmire costing $200 billion a year.

• Rampant corruption and unabashed cronyism with phony "privatization" schemes involving no-bid contracts and government officials or ex-government officials (especially Cheney and Halliburton).

• The destruction of New Orleans.

There is much more, but if this list of crimes is not considered "impeachable" by the Democrats in Congress, then there is no point in continuing the list. In fact, Congress itself should be impeached at the same time, if that were legally possible! The Bush stink is rancid, like a skunk in an outhouse in summer. And that stink covers Congress and the government itself.

We know that many "Democrats" in Congress are active players in the Bush Regime -- Senators Lieberman, Feinstein and Reid are major players, along with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, but there are many, many more Democrats who have collaborated with Bush-Cheney in their crimes. Only a handful of Democrats and Republicans believe the myth of "Constitution" any longer. The rest must be smoked out of their hidey holes by voters during the coming years.

Vermont town seeks Bush, Cheney arrests

President Bush may soon have a new reason to avoid left-leaning Vermont: In one town, activists want him subject to arrest for war crimes.

A group in Brattleboro is petitioning to put an item on a town meeting agenda in March that would make Bush and Vice President Cheney subject to arrest and indictment if they visit the southeastern Vermont community.

"This petition is as radical as the Declaration of Independence, and it draws on that tradition in claiming a universal jurisdiction when governments fail to do what they're supposed to do," said Kurt Daims, 54, a retired machinist leading the drive.

As president, Bush has visited every state except Vermont.

The town meeting, an annual exercise in which residents gather to vote on everything from fire department budgets to municipal policy, requires about 1,000 signatures to place a binding item on the agenda.

The measure asks: "Shall the Selectboard instruct the Town Attorney to draft indictments against President Bush and Vice President Cheney for crimes against our Constitution, and publish said indictment for consideration by other municipalities?"

The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday. The press office did not immediately respond to an e-mail.

I guess people are turning it up a notch, when the complicit congress wont do anything about the abuses by the Bush administration then it's up to the people to take matters into their own hands. Go Vermont!
